Best Izzy Phoenix for bo1

I’m playing the bo3 deck list from mtg goldfish, but the bo1 version of the deck on the same website looks very different. The big differences is that there are a lot less 4 ofs in the bo1 list and that the bo1 list is playing 4 goblin electromancer. I suspect that the more 1-3 ofs is due to there being more variation in decklists but I’m wondering if goblin electromancer is really better in bo1 than bo3.
Goblin Electromancer is totally hit or miss if you ask me. If it can survive, it's a beast, if it can't it's just really really bad. Sadly most decks have a way to remove it early, be it Mono Red, what is obviously the by far most played deck in best on one or one of the many esper variants.
While Goblin Electromancer is a strong card, I think right now is a bad time for this dude.

Like Eledain said he is hit or miss. I face pheonix a ton at my store and the games he is able to stick turn 2 for a few turns chart a course for 1 is gross. Otherwise he is good discard fodder.

Hmmm I’m not sure how Electromancer plays, tbh. I play Esper Hero in BO1 and there’s lots of burn and control. I often just respond with a tyrants scorn or mortify.
