Blech. This was to be expected. I hope this is just Emmy approaching the plane and not arriving on it. Knowing, Wizards, however, they're going to make Emmy enter Innistrad and kill her off. sigh

Honestly I would be quite content if Emmy showed up and just went totally ballistic. Devouring everything, down to Innistrad's last leaf, then just dipping out as quickly as she appeared. It would be fitting since now we know how much of a dick Sorin was to Nahiri and hopefully it would fling Sorin, Nahiri, and company into a massive all out war spanning the Multiverse. Just my $0.02 on the whole "Emmy returning" shit

Return to Ravnica didn't fuck everything up. I wouldn't say Battle for Zendikar did either, since Eldrazi were there last time. The only similar instance is Scars of Mirrodin, but we also hadn't heard from Phyrexia in a very long time. I'd be okay if Bolas was on Innistrad, as we haven't heard from him in some time. Absence makes the heart grow fonder

As someone who HATES with a burning passion the idea of the Eldrazi being on Innistrad I am holding out hope this is just a troll move or is a fake rumor or is just an excuse to have an orignal Emerkul as a promo because of the speculation regardless of the truth of the matter. But if Emerkul actually is on Innistrad I am not going to be happy about it.

I just hope the ability is good an functional on Emrakul. Unlike the failed attempt at kozilek.It only makes sense to give us Emrakul to complete the trio. But they should have put it in the last block.

The Battle for Zendikar block was initially designed as a 3-part block: Blood, Sweat, and Tears. They were going to have a set for each Eldrazi Titan. Emrakul's would have been Tears.

@GoldGhost012 still the flavor of this Innistrad does not equal the same level as the original... all the tribes this time paled in comparison to the old. the supposed Eldrazi significance in SOI has ruined one of the best selling, most loved, and fun sets of all time. They should have stuck to zombies v humans v vamps v lycans v spirits v angels v devils v demons and such.... Innistrad was good enough without the cop-out that is eldrazi.

Seems a bit early to be upset about this since it hasn't even been confirmed. I'm unsure of this, but I believe SOI began development before the shift to the two-block design. As a top-down set, flavor would be the first thing designed.

I really hope that this news is false, since Emrakul invading Innistrad would not fit into the gothic horror theme of the setting, and it also would severely undermine the threat of the Eldrazi; WotC has been building the Eldrazi as a great and dire threat to the entire multiverse, but, if they are defeated within the space of two blocks, that would not make them seem as terrifying as they are supposed to be, so I really hope that Emrakul does not appear until much later, or, if it does invade Innistrad, it is driven away and reappears later.

I think its the real deal and the reasoning may be like GoldGhost012 said when this set was being planned it was meant to be a 3 set block. Now it being 2 they had to figure a way of sneaking the 3rd titan in.

and so by "sneaking in the third titan" they figured lets take what everyone loved about the original Innistrad, and throw it out the window because "Hey... Edrazi"?!?!?! all that logic says is they took the cop-out knowing it would ruin Innistrad.

I'm legitimately thinking of selling a lot more of my collection now. If Wizards resolves the Eldrazi storyline this quickly then it's clear they aren't thinking about Magic in a long term sense, and the game may only last a couple more years. Not to mention, it's the most obvious thing they could possibly do. I get that they aren't usually great about being unpredictable, but since this is supposed to be this huge mystery, and they've kept a lid on it so well, I find it just plain insulting to go with what we all figured Nahiri was bringing to Innistrad.

FUCK THE ELDRAZI BEING ON INNISTRAD. I am so dissapointed that I don't even no where to begin. This is honestly the single thing that they could have done that pisses me off the most. My hype for eldratich moon now is almost zero. The only thing that is keeping me intrested is the fact it is guaranteed to have my favorite planeswalker (Liliana) in it.

Im happy as squee with his toy but then again i could care less about magic keeping history straight, i love the game not the lore.
I am upset that new ulamog was the only titan that seemed good with power level. Kozi was terrible unplayable to me an big mama emrakul isnt looking up to par either. Only immune to instants and a generic mindslaver......no thanks she will drop like kozi did.
