MTGNuclear still looking for writers

About a week ago I wrote about starting an website about magic. In this week I've been able to get a few articles up and the page has got a total of 200 unique visitors and over 350 page views which means it's not doing half badly. Although I still haven't bought a domain, it still has loads of potential. But I would like to have articles about other formats other than standard(the format I'm most comfortable with). Therefore I'm looking for deck builders who would be interested in writing about their unique decks or different takes at popular decks. I've also started a YouTube page, which has one deck tech upload and has a couple of subscribers, so that's another option if you're interested.

If you're interested the links are as follow:

Website: http://mtgnuclear.weebly.com

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7GfBBD0HcXT8WMu9ceR6Qw

Even if you're not interested in writing but only building decks, let me know. Any suggestions and or opinions on the website and YouTube page are more than welcome.

Thanks for your attention

I've already said that I would be interested in building decks but not in writing, but you turned me down since you only wanted writers. Has that changed in the past weeks?

Also I still feel that subpages with the articles are superior to uploading pdfs. It would also allow people to comment in a comments section at the bottom.

How often would you want writers to make an article? if nothing else i have an innumerable amount of home brew decks ranging from "competitive" to "if this was even mildly consistant people probably wouldn't let me play magic anymore".

as a note on the site itself, i dont like that i have to download the pdf to read the article. i may be a bit paranoid, but i dont like the idea that i have to download things from a random site before i can do anything.

i think the site could use a short bio on the homepage. just saying how its a site for magic players, by magic players and it's dedicated to helping the community grow and evolve. you could mention how you focus on alternative decks and playstyles.

Definitely interested. I enjoy writing/talking about magic, but I'm no expert. I know a good bit of theory, especially modern/legacy. I'm jumping into commander, so I hope to be gaining more knowledge about it.

Well I've already had to write weekly blog posts for school so I have a fair amount of experience with that. I also love brewing so I could try to take a look at brewing alternative takes on popular lists and even coming up with my own. I'm comfortable with commander and modern, so if you're interested hit me up with a message on the site.

lemmingllama at first I was looking for other people to write as I wasn't feeling too comfortable with writing. Now I've written a fair few articles so I don't mind writing, but the problem is that I'm having troubles brewing innovative decks so I'm looking for people to set up a group to discuss potential decks.

As of the subpages for articles, the choices for editing are limited and I haven't been able to set that up, but I'll take another look and see if I can do so, even if I have to change what website I use.

aholder7 if you are going to writing, ideally I would like it to be either weekly or monthly. But I don't want people only to write, but also help with the other Brewers in the website's group.

Again, I'll look into setting up the page differently so that nothing has to be downloaded in order to read the articles, but until then I'll keep it like this.

The bio is such a good idea, so obvious as well and I never really thought about it. Gonna add one right away. Thanks fella

mtgThaen Enable chat so we can talk about writing your first article, or if you prefer we can set up a group on Facebook with everyone that's interested in writing. Legacy is a format I'm not familiar with at all and would love to have articles about it on the page, so I'm definitely interested on you

JakeHarlow I was looking into getting sorta of a finance of magic articles up, but I'm not familiar with that. So if that's a topic you're good with, you definitely have a spot on the page. But if not, what are the topics you say you're familiar with?

@MTGNuclear I'd recommend looking into Wordpress, it is likely much more robust than what you are currently using and is very easy to customize.

Also if you do happen to create a group for decks, I typically have about a interesting Modern brew every week and with a backlog of random ideas. So I think I could help out a little.

I could do finance, as it pertains to Standard. I know a great deal about Standard, so that's what I'd be most qualified to write about. But I also have expertise with other formats like Modern, etc. I also have a lot of opinions about other aspects of the game, i.e. playgroup dynamics, getting into the game, how to play casually, etiquette, etc. Let me know if you want me to write something up for you and you can see if it fits.

Anyone interested, add me on Facebook so we can set up the group to talk about brews, finances and whatever else we want to write about. https://www.facebook.com/luke.wilson.3304

lemmingllama I just tried a couple others ones and they didn't work, I'll take a look at Wordpress now.

JakeHarlow all of those are potential things to write about. If you're interested, add me so we create the MTGNuclear group. :)

Oh yeah I did that too, but I suppose you got a message saying that already. Oh I'm also reasonably good at coding, just thought I'd throw that out there to see if it's helpful.

MTGNuclear, I would be quite happy to write among a number of topics, some of my specialties are, Finance, Edh/Commander and my most favorite, Cube. I love writing and have some experience writing, I would love to talk more extensively over chat, I have enabled your's so if you could do the same I would appreciate it very much. Thanks for your time and have a great night.

I have limited experience outside of modern, but i have so many brews its not even funny (70 on my phone and another 80 on my other i think. the number of ones though is closer to 25 on my current phone and idk on the other. all of these in modern btw). It sounds like you may have a bit of over lap on the number of people who can do modern though. if you're interested hit me up with a message on the site, i've hit enable chat on my side or i can add you on facebook if the group there is looking promising.

Guys, ideally I would want a place where all of us could chat and share ideas. Over tappedout, I can only talk one on one. Facebook was the first thing that came to my mind, but we could use anything else such as whatsapp or any other website that all of us uses. For now, I'll enable chat with all of you and we talk through tappedout.

aholder7 the Facebook group right now is only me and one other guy so it's better we wait and see what the other people prefer to use as the group chat. For now I'll enable chat with you so we can talk about your modern brews :D

If you need a writer I would be happy to contribute. I mostly play and brew in Legacy and Vintage so those are the formats with which I have the most experience, and about which I could write best. Also, if you have any interest in having articles on the non-tournament formats, and expansions (I.E five pointed star, or arch enemy) I could help with that section as well.

MTGNuclear I previously agreed to write articles. I have reconsidered my packed schedule and although I would like to submit decks, I haven't the time for writing. Reply if you want me to submit some decks.
