These are trying to take advantage of the power of Sheltering Ancient while avoiding the huge drawback by playing it with Solemnity. These lists are more a starting place so they aren't very tuned at this point.
I am also not sure if I prefer GW or Junk, hence the post, so narrowing that down will help to tune one or the other. I am leaning towards the Abzan list since it kind of plays more like a Death Shadow deck, disrupt the opponent and then drop a big threat to beat down with, where the GW list is more an aggro gw value town list.
Any help is appreciated!

The GW list is better. I'm not sold on the gimmick, but a GW creatures deck is going to be more consistent than BGx but strictly worse. I'm not a fan of making worse versions of existing decks. The GW version has some ways of taking advantage of Sheltering Ancient. Dromoka's Command and Path are effective removal for when your Ancient inevitably gives counters to the opponent.
