So snapcasters are starting to drop should I take this chance and grab a couple or wait to see if they keep dropping?
When modern season ends snapcasters price will plummet for a little while. Wait for standard season to come.

I'd keep them. They may drop a bit but they'll still be hard to find if you got rid of them now and expected to get them later.

I'm willing to bet my playset that he doesn't drop below $60. minus a ridiculous reprint, he's going to continue sitting around the ~$70 range, maybe even higher. a blue staple in every modern deck, and almost every legacy deck.

No doubt he's worth the money. My prediction is that he's going to sink down to about $55-65 until next January when he'll start his rise back up, only this time he'll reach $95-100 until he gets spoiled in modern masters 3, and the Innistrad one will plummet to $65-70 (foil will remain $200+), while the MM3 one will be $50-55. After modern season passes again, he'll be back down to $50-55/$40-45 for INS/MM3 respectively.

I currently have 8 non-foil and 4 foils. I don't get to play with them much. Is this the time to sell the foils or will they just hold value basically forever? I don't see how even a reprint would hit them very hard, but considering it's about $1,000 retail for a set right now I don't want to make a big mistake.

-Logician, I wouldn't put money down and say there's going to be a MM3 next year. They skipped a year between the first 2, they could easily do it again. Still, in terms of buying, I would wait a little to pick them up.

vishnarg I'm sorry you are correct. They didn't skip a year, they simply planned it to be something that happens every two years. I forgot about that.
