DDD runner-up (for now...) -

I played back when MTG was just getting started. I had a full set of P9, mostly in played condition. We shuffled and played casual games with them without sleeves. Yes, I riffle shuffled unsleeved Black Lotuses and Mox Sapphires without thinking twice about it. I didn't own a Time Vault. At that time nobody liked it because there was only good way to play it and it required Animate Artifact and Instill Energy which was pretty tough to pull off. I sold out everything in 1996 for peanuts. There's my sad story.
