So what is up with See the Unwritten? In the past week its gained about 5$ is this because of standard inflation or is this card seeing modern play?
bburt17 - The long and short of it? Eldrazi, man. Why cast Ulamog when you can get him in "for free"?

People are speculating that Ulamog and the rest of the Eldrazi will make the card good. I am one of those people.

So here is my next question then. After all the Eldrazi speculation hype will the card be even more and be a chase mythic or just a one or two of in GR and mono green?

I foresee playsets.
Turn 1- Elvish mystic (though maybe not with rotation, who knows)
Turn 2- Nissa's Pilgrimage
Turn 3- Atarka's Command, Whisperer of the Wilds, Temur Ascendancy, or something with 4 power at this point. Hell, get the durdle turtle out for all you care.
Turn 4- See the Unwritten. If you've got Temur Ascendancy, smack them with Ulamog for 20 card exile. If you've got durdle turtle or another 4 power on the field, get TWO Eldrazi.

So basically wait for someone to play green at pro tour BFZ and use this card and it will spike again.Basically it is essentially a CoCo for Eldrazis. I see its value at this point

Jokes on y'all, I've been playing Green Atarka since it's in standard. So yeah, a few tweaks here 'n there and I'll be exiling your deck and swinging for 15 on turn 4. :D

JKLawson89 because it's a sideboard card against Coco, Rally and See the Unwritten. No mainboard material here.

EpicFreddi oh I'm all aboard the See the Unwritten train, like you I would play it in Dragons. Its a great card and I have swore by anything that "cheats" creatures in like See the Unwritten and Whisperwood Elemental since we found out we were returning to Zendy...Im just thinking maybe it's time to pick up copies of Hallowed Moonlight.

JKLawson89 I picked them up for modern, mostly. But See the Unwritten/Coco/Rally Decks may rise in popularity, so it's never a bad idea.

I'm surprised more people weren't expecting this ever since the announcement of BfZ... how many sub-4 power creatures did they think there'd be?
But yes, a touch of rotation incoming, a touch of really powerful Red/Green synergy, a touch of it being a really good card that will get play in battleship decks.
