Arlinn Kord: Buy or Wait?

In essence, just looking for advice on the topic. Arlinn is sitting at a preorder of 31 midrange on mtg.info, and of all the currently spoiled SOI cards thus far, she seems to have the best chance of being an enduring part of Modern (I don't know enough about Legacy to hazard a guess as to PW viability at all, much less Arlinn specifically) which will keep her price high. I don't know if she will spike like little Jace and LotV, but it's possible. So, pre-order my playset or wait?
Arlinn is good tho. Flip Jace didnt drop. No one knows how Arlinn is gonna play out, but i think she is gonna see modern play. She might be at an all time low right now..

Buy her, wait on all other PW. She will retain price up until the PT.

smackjack,
Even if it was only a short drop, that's good info for me ... I know I want a two-of and I'm trying to figure out if I bite the bullet now, or wait until after pre-release ...

exactly, it does matter as even the current most overpriced expensive card was once cheaper than preorder. So the calculated risk is obviously different knowing that very recent PWs were vastly cheaper than current, and might be worth waiting for. Personally, I preordered a foil for my werewolf deck, foils usually hold value better but i just want one so il take the hit if it drops haha.

I would be very, very surprised is Arlinn held her current price for long, especially as a multicolored card.
Looking back at the price history of Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip, he started at $18, slowly dropped down to $12 over the next three weeks, and then started shooting up (he was almost $40 about two weeks later).

SaffronOlive has no crystal ball of course, but he spends a lot of time studying Magic finances over at MTGgoldfiah. I just noticed his prediction on the SOI Walkers: "My guess is three of these four will end up in the $5-$10 range with one gaining traction, finding a home in a tier one deck, and ending up closer to $15."

Just answered this about Sin Prodder. Most, (if not all of the time), card prices drop like a stone after release. So, I'd wait, unless you really need her by release weekend.
