Standard Control Deck Help - New Player

Hey guys!

I'm back because everyone helped me out so well with my last deck. I'm still new, and I'm looking to build my first control deck. Blue/Black with a splash of white.

I've never done this before, so any suggestions would be great!

I'm also debating taking out Brain in a Jar based on last night's proxy and replacing it with more control cards.

You've got a lot of things correct there, but you need 26 or 27 lands. Right now, you're only playing enough lands for an aggressive Red deck (and even they tend to play more than 20).

I'd remove Brain and Accursed Witch  ^Flip.
