Need Help Building a Mono-Black Weenie Sub-Theme for My Voltron Commander Deck

Basically, I just need suggestions for efficient/powerful mono-black creatures that cost no more than three mana to cast per creature.

I just need enough creatures to protect me until I bring Sapling of Colfenor out, but it would great if they also provided an alternate win condition.

My deck composition is very simple: it consists entirely of equipment and creatures, though I'm willing to alter it, provided I receive a good suggestion or twelve.
