I've been playing around with Naya midrange builds, and I've come up with

for standard and

Welcome to the Ridge | Budget Naya Midrange Playtest

for modern. Do you think that with the recent bannings in modern and the instability in standard with bombs like Soulfire Grandmaster, is there space for Naya colors? (Or Bant)

Thanks

The modern one is too slow and uninteresting for modern play.

I didn't mean uninteresting I meant uninteractive. What I mean by that is it does absolutely nothing to threaten the opponent until t4 when it can start casting some creatures but still doesn't actually do anything directly to the opponent.

It pretty much auto loses to Gr tron and a t3 Karn Liberated. It auto loses to Twin and their turn 4 instant win. It auto loses to scapeshift and their instant combo win. It's likely to lose against affinity given their t3 / t4 aggro win, merfolk given Spreading Seas and their t4 win, delver and their aggro that flies over the top, infect and their turn 3 blowout etc.

You need two things:

  1. A lower mana curve to stop aggro decks from just beating you early.

  2. removal spells to stop combo decks from going off and winning on the spot.

I would recommend reading Modern Format Primer - Banlist Update (19/1/2015) for more details.

I think you just need a few upgrsdes here and there such as Birds of paradise and ect for the modern one.

I would like to see path to exile in there too. And less than like 20 4 drops.
