Almost strictly worse than Desolate Lighthouse. Yes, this costs 1 less, but by the time you'd use either of the abilities, it makes little difference. Yes, the Lighthouse makes you discard a card, but if you discard a land, that's already strictly better than this, and you can use the Lighthouse multiple times.
