An Idea for One Deck

Commander (EDH) forum

For nearly a month now, I've ran a few decks using Sedris, the Traitor King at the helm. While my main list (here; All the King's Traitors) is pretty solid, I have accumulated at least 100 other cards to try to add.

My idea is this: what if I created an EDH box purely for that one deck? It might sound rather blasphemous because EDH boxes focus on multiple decks, not one. However, with the stash of stuff I have, I can build at least 6 different Sedris builds, including the main last, a combo-orientated one, a budget one, etc.

Obviously, this idea would (only?) work on a deck that can be built in many different ways, so a general like Uril, the Miststalker would not fir the category.

The main thing: Is this feasible? Or is it a fool's hope? I just have so many cards I want to use in Sedris, but I can't find room for them all.

tl;dr: An EDH box built around one general. Is it wise or foolish?

If you have the decks, and if finishing them is easy and timely (moving cards to other decks you don't have multiples of) and enjoy playing them all, then why not.

I have all the cards I need for the most part, so budget isn't a concern (unless it's the ABU duals).

This actually sounds pretty cool. That way you have a couple different ways to play, what I'm assuming is, your favorite commander.

I get tired of running the same decks over and over, commander or otherwise, and am always switching things up.

It really does seem like Sedris is my favorite general/commander.

But, yes, the idea is a good way to build a multitude of decks featuring your favorite commander. Good point.
