20 Legends, 5 Decks

Commander Deck Help forum

So, while I was at my LGS, I found a bunch of Legends uncommon legendaries by chance. I picked them all up, thinking I could build some EDH decks. Of course, I will end up building 5 decks instead of 20.

But, the question is: What shall I do? Yes, there are better options out there, but I want to kick it old school. I'm thinking of the decks on a budget, but I'm not sure how big, considering that I'm literally drained money-wise (Thanks WOTC).

For reference: The legendary creatures in question.

Hmm, that's something different for once! I think out of the bunch you should only consider the ones with abilities. My ranking of potential would be:

1.Sunastian Falconer - combine ramp and ability plus burn spells for a fattie deck

2.Pavel Maliki - solid ability, aggressive colors

3.Tor Wauki - okay ability, aggressive colors

4.Princess Lucrezia - classic colors, okay ability

5.Riven Turnbull - see above, slighty higher CMC

6.Lord Magnus - great colors, somewhat limited abilities

7.Ramirez DePietro - good flavor, great colors, nothing to really build on

8.Marhault Elsdragon - good colors, could be build into a force block/attack somehow

9.Hunding Gjornersen - see above, less aggressive colors

If you want to run as many as you can you could include the fitting ones into your deck(s) ofc.

My personal preference is a flavor-based Ramirez DePietro deck. Pirates!

I love this idea, I wish I could myself.
Personally, I would do, for preference and flavor reasons:
Ramirez DePietro
Lord Magnus
The Lady of the Mountain
Jedit Ojanen
Lady Orca

I am tempted to make a deck now with one of the legends and use only old bored cards.

Just to clarify, my original idea was to build 5 decks, one for each ally color, and throw 4 legendries into each deck. Then the general would be random.

Kala: I tried that, but until there's a pirate-themed block, I won't approach this idea.

NoNeedToBragoBoutIt: Perhaps, though I am still intent on using all of them.

Not directly related, but... that's the tap icon for MTGO now? I think the classic sideways T these were printed with was actually easier to distinguish from the colorless mana icon. Maybe it's just the picture size that bothers me.

Wow, I did not notice that. I think they meant tap, but someone screwed up. Sunastian Falconer is broken! Get him while he's cheap!
