Have you considered Venser's Journal over the ivory tower? You get both life and unlimited handsize out of one card rather than needing another card for unlimited hand size.

KayneMarco I have! I made the choice to not put it in the deck mainly because of the cmc. It’s extremely good, though, and I haven’t really ruled it out fully yet. I was just talking to a buddy of mine about it last week, in fact.

Looks to me this deck plays the long game rather than combining out asap. If that’s the case the journal’s cmc is negligible.

KayneMarco it can combo out on t3 so I mean.. it’s a mix of both depending on the board state of the entire table, really.
