This will be my first secret commander, it's something I've heard years ago but since I didn't play edh I didn't care much. Now I've been playing edh for a while but could never build a deck that's fun for me and others since I've mostly played 1v1 competitive formats like modern and more recently pauper so I never felt quite comfortable with decks that are for multiplayer or with multiplayer at all.
I was looking at my Sphinx of Jwar Isle that I've had since I got my second intro deck back in zendikar and thought that I would like to build a deck around it but since I don't play casual at all or have friends who play it just didn't seem possible until I remembered about the "secret commander" idea! Now it seemed like a very fun idea to have an edh deck that isn't so commander centric since mine (Slivers and Derevi) really really are...
