While I haven't tried him, I feel that getting up to 5 mana can be tricky sometimes so I am hesitant to include him.

Hey man nice deck!
I've been playing a Mardu Of Demons and Dragons deck I built myself for this Standard with really good results, and I've been considering starting to play Modern with some cards once they rotate out. Your deck gave me some good ideas. +1 for this!

Have you considered Castigate instead of Tidehollow Sculler? Just so they don't have the chance of getting the card back.

I absolutely love castigate. That and Pillory of the Sleepless were two of my favorite cards from that series.

I don't know about that, each time I have played angler he was 100 times more useful than zurgo would have been.
