I lost in top 8, but I at least made top 8.
Rnd 1 I faced Affinity and won 2-1. The match up is weird, they can have a fast start and just kill me, i think they should win game 1. I think i am slightly favored in g2 and g3, but i am not 100% sure. I have a reach creature that can block everything minus the champion. i also have some decent sideboard cards, either way I think its a fun match.
Rnd 2 I faced Mono D&T and lost 1-2. It's not the greatest match up because of all the flying they have. Also thalia blocks my deck very well. I love DnT, I play it so I know how it works. Stompy can beat it, it has to be patient but it isnt the easiest deck to face. They critters have more value than ours.
Rnd 3 I faced Burn and won 2-1. My opponent is new with the deck and i feel made a few mistakes, but it was close match regardless. I won game 3 off the back of a pump spell and Feed the Clan for 10 life.
Rnd 4 I faced Esper Shadow and won 2-0. I am not sure if stompy is just strong against shadow or if shadow is just counter productive vs stomp. They have good cards for me and they can easily control the game. I just managed to build up a board and haste in a Strangleroot Geist or I would double pump a unblocked creature.
Rnd 5 I faced G.W Bogles and lost 1-2. I dont think i am favored at all in this match, both decks are non-interactive and i have to try to race them but the life gain they have access to just puts them out of reach. I dont have much for them in sideboard or main but i will try to beat.

I faced merfolk and lost 0-2. So here is another creature deck with value creatures, the popular creature decks have more value and interaction that the stomp deck so i basically have to muscle my way thru there blockers. Mulligans are real and it wasnt in the cards for me to win that match, i have beaten fish before, but not that day.
