theNeroTurtle I think with any mistake like this what really matters is is/how they decide to address it. WOTC is going to make sure that everyone who opened that pack get their prerelease content replaced, and if they played with friends or if their game store is good at it's job, that means they get free content to do essentially a second pre release with. Seems like an excellent and thoughtful solution to me.

Also Wizards responded pretty quickly and apologized and Maro said on his blog they're already in contact with effected game stores and plan to do something for the people who signed up for pre releases at those stores. He said it's a special set and he wants people to get the full experience, and he's sorry that people had their pre release messed with.

I think sometimes it's easy to forget that you can always find what you are looking for. So if you are always looking for one thing, you will find it day in and day out. You've made your opinions on WOTC clear, and I think that's what leads you to find content like what Caerwyn mentioned. There's a whole online culture of rage baiting etc - but I found a positive answer to this after less than a minute of googling. No a reprimand, just saying if you look into things for yourself you'll often find better answers.

That was fun! Make a Angel that is not a savior, warrior, or zealot of any kind and doesn't do typical angel stuff like life gain. And no "fallen" angels. Get creative!

Can't help but make references with these. This one is a bit obscure though, not sure if anyone would recognize the name of Hippolyta's horse. Make a green and white 2mv mythic creature that is NOT based around any kind of lifegain or go wide strategy.

I think people always forget what Maro always says about the people that actually buy MTG products regularly, that 75% of these people almost exclusively play kitchen table MTG.

Do I like/want to play UB? No it's really not my jam, even with IPs I like like ATLA. But my opinion, like a lot of the people on this site, is just a very small drop in the bucket. A lot of people are buying these products and taking them home to play. ALTA and Final Fantasy were the two best selling sets of the year. I understand the bummer of a feeling that the game you love is changing into something else, but it's popular and making them a lot of money so that means it is here to stay. And that means MTG can continue, even if it looks different.

To those who don't like UB - I can't recommend proxying and making your own "in universe" cards enough, it's actually pretty fun.

That being said, I hope they are learning from the spiderman set cause OOF that was bad.
