My name is Monir, and I started playing magic since around the middle of the zendikar block. My cousin was the one who introduced me to the game and he's pretty much the one to blame for me spending so much money on it. I probably stopped being a "beginner" around the time of my first FNM, which happend to be at the peak of Caw Blade's popularity.

I'm primarily a Modern player, though I like to dabble in Standard. I tend to keep up to date on all things magic so I can see what crazy janky thing I can build next. I also enjoy playing EDH, so that's another format I tend to keep tabs on.

As far as what Kind of player I am, I think it really depends on my mood. Outside of tapped out I own 42 decks that range from standard all the way to legacy, with some that are competitive, and some that are absolutely terrible, just built for fun. I also own 6 EDH decks that all keep me entertained when I'm not in the mood for the other 36 decks. If I had to pick a type, I feel that I prefer to play control, though honestly combo is a close second. My favorite color combination is Izzet for dual color combination, and Grixis for three color combination. I'd have to say that my favorite card is probably Blue Sun's Zenith, seeing as I like to throw it into every deck possible, even if it doesn't really belong. On that same note I find myself naming my guilds/ clans in video games Omen Machine because I feel like that's a sick group name. So I guess you can say that's my second favorite card

Outside of MTG, I'm a pretty avid gamer. I enjoy all sorts of genres, but lately I've kind of been in a shooter slump, so if you have any particularly good ones, hit me up. On that note, I'd really be glad for recommendations in general, no matter the genre. As far as what I'm currently playing, my game of choice is Starcraft II, so if there are any fellow players, Let's Game!

Lately, I've been a fairly active trader, because some of the cards I want are kind of pricey. I am new to the whole "trading online" thing, so if I mess up, it's not because I'm a dick.
