Choirboy2020 Root Maze and Ethersworn Canonist are not asymmetrical STAX effects so they stop us from comboing too. I hadn’t given much thought to Fauna Shaman and Survival of the Fittest as I have not played many games where I wished I could fetch a non-legendary STAX piece.

I just switched to the STAX game plan so I am still tuning it and I appreciate any feedback you have.

ArkMasters I appreciate that. Exactly the type of feedback I’m looking for, especially from people who get to play cEDH games more than I.

On the Devoted Druid combo, I had considered adding that. I’m just having trouble finding space. i.e. I would add Carpet of Flowers before Vizier of Remedies . Any cards I touch in Ramp, land untappers, or combo Accelerant decrease turn 4/5 combo chance. I don’t want to touch interaction. Which leaves land or Elesh?

I agree there is more optimization to be done, just not sure where it is at the moment without significantly more play-testing than I get.

exalted_k1d Currently I’m tuning the deck to increase turn 4 odds of comboing. Neither Thran Temporal Gateway or Titania, Protector of Argoth do that. The goal is to untap with Captain Sisay and win that turn. Using an extra fetch on either Thran or Titania disrupts the combo timing, and I would probably be better served, in those cases, by fetching STAX i.e. Hokori, Dust Drinker to stop my opponents from winning. Turns 3-5 there isn’t a lot of room to cast cards that don’t win the game or stop my opponents from winning.

I appreciate the feedback though! Thank you.
