"The next end step" isn't the end step of the next turn, it's the next end step that happens. Because loyalty abilities can only be activated during one of your main phases, the "next end step" for Venser's ability will be the one at the end of your turn, after your second main phase ends.

Well, in the example you gave, it would be your end step since you can only activate Venser, the SojournerMTG Card: Venser, the Sojourner, or any planeswalker. during your main phase. Where as, if you were to activate something like a Mimic VatMTG Card: Mimic Vat, it would depend on when you activated it. If you activated the Mimic VatMTG Card: Mimic Vat during your opponents end step, the next end step would be yours, if you activated it during your end step, the next one would be his. The next end step is, when broken down to the simplest explanation, the beginning to the next end step to show up.
