What would happen if I had Jace, Unraveler of Secrets' emblem out with Erayo's Essence?

Erayo's Essence, Jace, Unraveler of Secrets
Would they both counter the one spell, and one would specifically ignore the other?
Or would they stack and therefore counter the second spell?

They would both trigger the first time an opponent casts a spell in a turn. As a result, both will be attempting to counter the same spell, which is somewhat redundant. Their second spell won't trigger either.
