What happens if you kill a land that becomes a creature?

Asked by Baloney 9 years ago

Let's say you have the ability to transform whatever land you have into a 2/2 creature that is still a land. Does this mean that if I do 2 damage or more to it with a creature or another type of spell I can kill it and make it go to its owner's graveyard?

Yes. If a land becomes animated via some effect like Kamahl, Fist of Krosa, it gains a power and toughness. In your example, the land is a 2/2. So if the animated land takes 2 damage, it will die and be put into its owner's graveyard.
