Understanding Grenzo

So I decided to build a Grenzo, Havoc Raiser EDH, but I want to know first, does Grenzo's ability allow me to use colorless mana as mana of any color when casting spells with his ability?And second, lets say I attack with Grenzo and another creature, Grenzo get blocked by a creature that would kill him, and the other creature doesn't get blocked, so when damage is delt, will Grenzo's triger triger? or because he is "dieing" at that moment it won't? Thanks!

Skwarka So just to be clear about the second thing you explained, abilities that trigger at the same time thier source is dieing will trigger? Like for an example if I have Blood Artist on the battlefield, and also a few tokens, if someone would boardwipe, will the Blood Artist trigger trigger for each of the tokens? Thanks again!

That is correct, creatures that die at the same time as their friends with abilities will still see their friends get decapitated and activate their abilities. I'm glad you asked that, because I was literally just thinking I needed to come back and clarify this answer.

In this case, you can use colorless mana as though it were mana of any color to cast that spell.
All damage is dealt at the same time, so as long as Grenzo is killed at the same time the other creature connects the ability will trigger. What I mean is if Grenzo is killed by a creature with first strike and the other creature has first strike the ability will trigger, this also works if none of the creatures have first/double strike. But, if Grenzo is killed during first strike damage and your other creature doesn't deal damage during the first strike step then the ability will not trigger.
