Two separate effects happening during the same step: who chooses the order?

My question is specifically about having Fevered Visions, which says I draw an extra card at the beginning of my end step, and Avaricious Dragon, which says I discard my hand at the beginning of my end step.

Can this combo work together in a beneficial way for me? Can I discard my hand (dragon) and then draw the extra card (visions)?

Yes if you control both effects you can stack the triggers in any order that seems beneficial to you
