Transforming and Soulbound

Asked by AGrimes 12 years ago

If I had a on the battlefileld Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip and the next turn I play a Wolfir Silverheart and soulbound him with my Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip . My opponent doesn't play anything, so Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip transforms into Ravager of the Fells  Flip . My Question is does Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip remain soul bound after his transformation into Ravager of the Fells  Flip ?

A double-faced card (DFC) on the battlefield is still the same permanent, no matter which side is currently face-up. Transforming doesn't cause the object to become a new permanent, nor does it cause the object to leave the battlefield.

As such, the permanent will remain enchanted and equipped by any permanents that were and still can be legally attached to it, and it will remain soulbonded to any creature it was soulbonded to before the transformation.
