So if a creature dies and gets exiled by Eater of Virtue would I get a zombie from Tormod, the Desecrator?

Since Eater of Virtue exiles the creature on the resolution of its triggered ability, there will be a distinct period where the creature is in the graveyard. Once Eater resolves, it'll exile the card in the graveyard, triggering Tormod.
