Terastodon vs. Shroud + noncreature permanents

Asked by Jedi117 12 years ago

For example, assume someone has Privileged Position in play and two other noncreature permanents. If you play Terastodon , can you destroy Privileged Position and then destroy the other two noncreature permanents?

No, since when the Terastodon enters the battlefield and his ability triggers you would need to pick all the targets as soon as it gets placed on the stack. Since everything the player has all have hexproof except for the Privileged Position , only the Privileged Position can be targeted on that player's side.

I may be wrong on this part, but all targets are declared when Terastodon enters play. Since Privileged Position is the only permanent that can be targetted, its the only one that Terastodon can destroy.
