Does Sword of War and Peace offer protection from Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite's ability "Creatures your opponent control get -2/-2"?

no Sword of War and Peace does not protect a creature from Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite's ability, because her ability is a global effect and does not target creatures.

for protection remember the d.e.b.t. rule which is a creature with protection can't be Damaged, Equipped/Enchanted, Blocked, or Targeted by anything it has protection from which elesh norns ability doesnt fall under the debt rule

On a side-note, the Sword offers a +2/+2 boost, essentially negating Elesh Norn's static ability.
