Suspended Eldrazi Conscription

Asked by Bauhom 12 years ago

I'm wondering what would happen if someone played Delay on an Eldrazi Conscription , and by the time it hit the field the only creatures on the field were enemy creatures. Would the player have to enchant one of the enemy creatures?

Yes. The player is forced to play the suspended card if able. If the only legal targets for Eldrazi Conscription are an opponent's creatures, then the player must target one of those creatures.

Yes. Casting the suspended card when the last counter is removed is mandatory. You must do so, if able. When you cast an "enchant creature" aura, you must specify target creature for it. If the only creatures on the battlefield at that time are your opponents' creatures, well, you're in trouble.

it does grant Annihilator 2, so you can sac it to itself, and not take the +10 trample damage
