Sunforger: can I retrieve multicolored cards?

For the Sunforger card once I unattach by paying the r/w mana cost it says I can cast a red or white instant card. My question is can I play a multicolor card if it includes red or white, such as Aura Mutation in the cost or does it have to be purely red or white. Thanks

Yes, you can do that. Even if the spell has green in its mana cost it's still white for the purpose of determining if it's white.
