Sneak Attack and Conjurer's Closet

Asked by Bobgalarneau 12 years ago

So, Sneak Attack . From the oracle, if the creature leaved and re enterred the battlefield (flicker), if is considered a new creature and so is unafected by sneak attack end of turn sacrifice.

My question is regarding Conjurer's Closet . Since it is triggered at the begining of end step and Sneak Attack is at the end step. Will get to chose the order in wich i put them on the stack so i can flicker my creature? Or will conjurer's closet ability always go first on the stack since it's worded "at the begining"?

Pretty sure it's allready been answered but i can't it and it seems to have both answer on various forums.....

They actually both say "at the beginning." but that's not the part that matters. You, as the active player, can choose the order in which your triggers go off, so you could put the Closet's trigger on top of Sneak Attack's, allowing you to blink your dude before the Sneak Attack forces you to sacrifice it.

The terminologies "At the beginning of the next End Step" and "At end of turn" are effectively synonymous, they're just an evolution of one another. So you get to choose the order. If Conjurer's Closet resolves first, it will remove the Sneak Attack deleyad trigger clause, as the game will treat as a new creature with no memory.
