Sea's Claim's actual use.

If I enchant a Gaea's Cradle with this, does it become a basic Island, capable of only producing 1 blue Mana; or does it work like Hallowed Fountain where it is an island in addition to other stuff?

It will become an Island with Tap: Add 1 U to your mana pool. It will not have any other abilities, because Sea's Claim does not say "in addition to it's other types"

Cards like Sea's Claim override all other types and attributes of the card. Gaea's Cradle would become a Land - Island that has the ability "Tap: Add to your mana pool."
