Sacrificing Questions

Asked by MatthewHwang 12 years ago

I have a few questions to ask about sacrificing..

1) Can you use a sacrifice ability on an enemy's turn?2) Can you sacrifice an indestructible creature?3) If I have Warden of the Wall , can I sacrifice the artifact creature when it's the enemy's turn to use a sacrifice ability or instant, and keep the artifact?

I think that new lines don't work unless you end the previous one with a period.

1) Yes, you can use a sacrifice ability on an enemies turn, as activated abilities can be used at instant speed (unless otherwise stated)

2) You can sacrifice a creature with Indestructable. For instance, if you attack with Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis and your opponent only controls an Avacyn, Angel of Hope , they will have to sacrifice the Angel.

3) If you sacrifice Warden of the Wall as an artifact creature, it will go to the graveyard, and not return as a normal Artifact afterwards.

So, if I have an artifact that turns into an artifact creature, card:Angel's Tomb for example, will the artifact go to the graveyard if the creature dies in combat?
