Riku of Two Reflections and Time Warp
Asked by apocguy 13 years ago
Played an EDH game recently and my opponent played Time Warp which he copied by using Riku of Two Reflections activated ability. He argued that this would give him two cumulative extra turns.
I just wanted to get some clarification.

10/4/2004 If multiple "extra turn" effects resolve in the same turn, take them in the reverse of the order that the effects resolved.

Oracle ruling for Time Warp :
10/4/2004: If multiple "extra turn" effects resolve in the same turn, take them in the reverse of the order that the effects resolved.
This is supported by the following quote from the comprehensive rulebook:
500.7. Some effects can give a player extra turns. They do this by adding the turns directly after the current turn. If a player gets multiple extra turns or if multiple players get extra turns during a single turn, the extra turns are added one at a time. The most recently created turn will be taken first.
Therefore, the answer is yes. Think of it this way: your opponent will take his or her extra turn(s) in order from the most recently-resolved to the first-resolved effect. In essence, extra turns "stack".

yes, he would get 2 extra turns between the turn that they resolve and the next normal turn
think if it as having 2 time warps in your hand and playing them both on the same turn
