opponent redirected seething song from me to Him, is this legal?

Title explains it really.

I played Seething song, he replies with Redirect and says the 5 Red mana is now his.

Does it work this way?

No.Seething Song has no targets. While your opponent can cast Redirect targeting Seething Song , it won't do anything.

"You" in the text of a spell or ability always refers to the controller of that object.
