Necrotic Ooze and mana abilities

more or less im asking if mana abilites are a type of activited ability. if i have a Elvish Mystic in my graveyard does Necrotic Ooze gain that ability?

Activated abilities are written "cost: effect." Activated mana abilities.differ from normal activated abilities in that they don't use the stack and can't be responded to.

So yes, Elvish Mystic 's ability is an activated mana ability and will be gained by Necrotic Ooze .
