Multi As Foretold

Asked by lukeabshier 6 years ago

If you have two or more As Foretold's on the board, does each one trigger or can you only use it once.

It also says on each turn, does that mean you can use it on your turn and then again on your opponents?

Each As Foretold triggers seperately. I can see where you would be curious about the wording, and to make that easier to think about in the future the best way to read cards like this is that when a card refers to itself by name it really is saying "This permanent" and normally, under most circumstances, doesn't care about other cards of the same name.

Also yes, each turn means every players turn, it would have stated "during each of your turns" if it only meant your own.

The trigger of As Foretold is the putting a counter on, the free casting is a not a trigger, but as said, you can use it for each As Foretold you control, from gatherer:

4/18/2017 If you control multiple As Foretolds, you may cast one spell for each of them paying .

It can be helpful to check Gatherer for rulings, as Wizards might have already addressed your question.

As DJSeras said, you can cast a spell with As Foretold on your turn and then cast one on your opponent's turn, but remember As Foretold doesn't change when your allowed to cast spells, so you'll only be able to cast an instant or a card with flash on your opponent's turn using As Foretold.
