If you play an Olivia, Mobilized for War while you have one out, can you give the new one a 1/1 counter before sacking the old one?

I am making a black/red vampire madness deck and came across this problem in a Playtest.

Olivia, Mobilized for War

Yes you can. Before the legend rule is applied, any ETB abilities trigger and go on the stack. It doesn't resolve though until you choose 1 Olivia, Mobilized for War and put the rest into your graveyard.

If you keep the new Olivia, then the ability resolves and you may discard a card, if you do she gets a +1/+1 counter, haste, and is a vampire in addition to its other types.

"116.5: Each time a player would get priority, the game first performs all applicable state-based actions as a single event (see rule 704, "State-Based Actions"), then repeats this process until no state-based actions are performed. Then triggered abilities are put on the stack (see rule 603, "Handling Triggered Abilities"). These steps repeat in order until no further state-based actions are performed and no abilities trigger. Then the player who would have received priority does so." Yes it triggers before legend rule applies, but legend rule applies before trigger is put on stack.

Thanks for the help guys. That's all I needed to know but it might be helpful in later games I play.
