During the first strike combat damage step the creature will deal damage equal to it's power and you'll gain that much life. This is a modification on the result of damage and does not use the stack. Then Spirit Link will trigger, and if it resolves you'll gain life equal to the damage dealt. Then, if the creature blocking/blocked by the enchanted creature is still on the battlefield for the regular combat damage step, or if the creature was unblocked, it will once again deal damage equal to it's power and you'll gain that much life, and Spirit Link will trigger again. When all is said and done you'll have gained life equal to four times the creature's power. If it killed everything blocking/blocked by it and does not have trample, it will not deal any damage during the regular combat damage step and you will not gain life from lifelink, and Spirit Link will not trigger.
