How Rankle and Torbran interact with Acidic Soil

So, acid soil says it will do 1 damage for each land. Do T&R increases for each or only the total?

Since Acidic Soil is the source dealing damage, Torbran will only increase once.

If it instead said "Each land deals 1 damage to their controller." then Torbran would increase each instance, as they are all separate.

The updated rules text on Acidic Soil makes it clearer that there's only one instance of damage.

"Acidic Soil deals damage to each player equal to the number of lands they control."

Damage is dealt once to each player, from one individual source. Rankle and Torbran would cause Acidic Soil to deal (number of lands) + 2 to each player.
