How exactly Bring to the light works?

I'm sorry, if this is just simple and I'm over complicating it but I don't know if I got this right. If I cast Bring to the light, and search for a Wrath of God per example, is there a window between the bring to the light resolution and the cast of the wrath of god? Or the only window to respond is before bring to the light resolves so the opponent wouldn't even know what I'm going to find before it resolves?
I just saw this and got confused: "If you cast the exiled card, you do so as part of the resolution of Bring to Light. You can't wait to cast it later in the turn. Timing restrictions based on the card's type are ignored, but other restrictions (such as “Cast [this card] only during combat”) are not."

Once Bring to Light starts resolving, the next time anyone will have priority to make a response is after Wrath of God is cast and on the stack (before it starts resolving). No one else will know what you're searching for until you've found it and put it out there.
Normally you don't have permission to cast anything during the resolution of another spell or ability, but the rulings note is trying to make it clear that Bring to Light's own effect is having you cast that spell as Bring to Light resolves. I think the note is more confusing than it was meant to be, because it sounds like it implies some things that aren't happening and don't matter.

Exactly! I thought I understood but then I saw those notes and was not that sure anymore. So basically it tutors directly to the stack, and the opponents can just wait to see what you're tutoring for and counter the spell?

There's a small extra step where it's put into exile first and then gets cast to the stack but yes, "tutors directly to the stack" is a good way to think about it.
For MDFCs, you search your library based on the characteristics of the front face only. Note that with the way Bring to Light works, the "creature, instant, or sorcery card with mana value..." requirement is only for what you search for, not what you cast. This means you're allowed to cast the back face of a MDFC if it's not a land (lands can't be "cast"), even if it has the "wrong" card type or mana value.
