How does transform handle aura's and enchant creature's?

Asked by VynnRook 10 years ago

If for example, I have placed a Contaminated Bond on an opponents Reckless Waif  Flip and on his next turn, the creature transforms (merciless predator]], either due to no spells being cast or a Moonmist The Bond remains on the transformed creature and continues to trigger every time the creature attacks or blocks correct? Does the act of transforming remove Enchant creatures or Auras?

Correct. When a permanent transforms, it's still the same permanent. It just gains and loses certain characteristics. Auras and Equipment will remain attached to it unless they cannot legally remain attached to it based on its new characteristics. Counters will also remain on it.

As a general note: All cards which previously said "Enchant <blank>" on the typeline (apart from Enchant Worlds) have been errated to be Auras, so there is no need to specify them as if they are different things.
