How does the Brago, King Eternal blink effect work?

Asked by link2213 9 years ago

Hi,

I am getting into the commander format and found a nice budget Brago, King Eternal deck that I ended up purchasing. As I wait for the cards, I'm coming up with a few questions as to how his effect works. From reading the rulings on the card, I found that the effect comes into play after damage is dealt, and that Brago can blink himself.

Do cards remain in the same state when they come back in, or do they all untap?

Do I get to choose the order of the blinks or do they happen at the same time?

To provide a specific scenario for those questions, I'm curious as to what happens when I blink a Sunblast Angel. Can I save Brago by blinking him or is he dead from tapping to attack (which is what would trigger the blink)?

Thanks!

Anything which is returned from Exile to the Battlefield will be untapped and summoning sick, unless something on the card says otherwise. Things which "enter the battlefield tapped" will enter tapped and so on.

If you exile Brago himself, he'll come back untapped and not die to Sunblast Angel.
