How does Setessan Tactics work with a creature with lifelink, double strike, or deathtouch? Would those still apply? For instance if ihave a creature with deathtouch and firststrike fight another creature does it just die instantly never returning damage?

First strike and double strike only affect when combat damage is dealt in the combat phase.

However, death touch and lifelink apply to any damage the creature deals, including fighting and cards like Burning Anger .

First strike and double strike are abilities that only affect how a creature deals damage during the combat phase, so that would not affect their participation in fights.

Fighting is defined by each creature involved dealing damage equal to its power to the other. This means that abilities like lifelink will trigger (the creature dealt damage).

Additionally, having deathtouch means that a creature need only deal one damage to kill the other creature. However, despite having deathtouch, the creature will deal damage equal to its power (even if it is greater than one) to the other creature.

@GlistenerAgent: Lifelink is not a triggered ability. It is a static ability.

To answer the underlying question within your question, there are certain abilities, such as first strike and double strike, that apply only to combat. Fighting is not combat, so those abilities don't apply to fights.

However, lifelink, deathtouch, wither, and infect apply to all damage dealt by the source. Therefore, they can apply to fight damage.

Although fight does specify an order in which the creatures deal damage to one another, note that destruction due to lethal damage is a state-based action, and SBAs are not performed in the middle of resolutions. No matter what kind of damage is dealt during a fight or what order the damage is dealt in, nothing will die until after the fight is finished.
