How does Karona, False God work?
Asked by XxCataclysmiCxX 11 years ago
If you enchant Karona, False God with control enchantments such as Confiscate , or Dream Leash would she remain in your control?
or what about Empress Galina ? her effect says it doesn't end at the end of turn but then karona's effect happens at every upkeep.
I was actually toying around with an EDH deck concerning Karona, False God on the Voltron style using the enchantments that prevent her from attacking the person who controls the enchantment (in this case me). example: Vow of Duty . i ended up scrapping it due to inconsistency. does that even actually work that way?

@Bellock86: Yes. Control of the enchantment doesn't change; if you control Vow of Duty , Karona, False God cannot attack you.

You'll apply all control-changing effects in timestamp order, so the most recently-created effect will be the one that takes precedence. Because Karona, False God 's native control-changing ability triggers each upkeep, it will effectively refresh each turn. When it does, it overrides all existing control-changing effects to give control of Karona, False God to the active player.
