how does Aven Mindcensor interact against fetchlands

i was just brousing through some of my old cards when i came upon Aven Mindcensor and was curious as to if it only allowed people who use fetchlands such as Scalding Tarn to only look at the top 4 of their deck for the land that are looking for

okay, thank you. that makes it a bit more fun for me when playing against the modern players i play with who rely on those fetchlands

That is exactly what it does, as the card says.
If they would search their library, they can only search the top 4 cards instead. Counts for everything that allows library search.
