How do Instants that give Hexproof work?

Asked by Argy 8 years ago

If someone plays Ruinous Path, targetting my Mirrorwing Dragon, can I cast Woodcutter's Grit also targetting the Dragon, before the Ruinous Path resolves, meaning that my Dragon is now no longer a legal target?

My apologies, I see that a similar question has already been answered and yes, the Dragon is now an invalid target, so the spell fizzles.

Correct. However, all of your opponent's creatures that can will still die to copies of Ruinous Path. Also, do you get points for answering your own questions?
