Heroic and Planeswalkers

Would a planeswalker ability trigger heroic? For example would Ajani, Caller of the Pride s +1 trigger heroic on my Fabled Hero .

No. Heroic triggers "whenever you cast a spell that targets." Planeswalkers have abilities, not spells.

I know creatures abilities didn't work but I didn't know if planeswalkers cast their abilities as 'spells' as I thought they were essentially another player. Cheers anyway.

Planeswalkers are not players; they are cards. Loyalty abilities are exactly that: abilities.
